BC Auctions provides auction services for equipment, estates, business liquidations, consignments, personal property, and other assets. BC Auctions also operates GavelWay, its online bidding platform and online auction service.

The terms published for a particular auction control participation in that auction. By registering or bidding, bidders may be required to separately accept those auction-specific terms.

4. Online Bidding

Online bidding depends upon internet connections, devices, software, servers, and other technology that may occasionally experience delays, interruptions, or failures.

BC Auctions does not guarantee uninterrupted access to online bidding or that every bid attempt will be received, recorded, or accepted.

BC Auctions reserves the right to address bidding disputes, technical issues, clerical errors, or other auction-related issues in accordance with the terms established for the applicable auction and applicable law.

5. Auction Information and Item Descriptions

BC Auctions makes reasonable efforts to provide useful information about items offered for sale. Descriptions, photographs, videos, measurements, hours, mileage, condition statements, and other information may be provided by consignors, sellers, BC Auctions, or other sources.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in the applicable auction terms, property is generally offered as-is, where-is, and prospective buyers are responsible for reviewing available information and conducting any inspection they consider necessary before bidding.

Specific representations, warranties, inspection rights, and buyer responsibilities are governed by the terms of the individual auction.

6. Consignments and Seller Applications

This website may allow individuals and businesses to apply to become approved BC Auctions consignors or submit property for consideration.

Submitting an application or information about an item does not guarantee approval or acceptance of an item for auction.

Approved consignors may be subject to a separate Consignor Agreement, auction-specific terms, commission arrangements, and item acceptance requirements.

Where a separate consignor agreement or item acceptance agreement applies, those terms govern the consignment relationship.

7. Payments, Fees and Commissions

Buyer's premiums, seller commissions, transaction charges, taxes, payment requirements, and other fees may vary depending upon the auction or service.

Applicable charges will be disclosed through the relevant auction terms, bidder registration process, consignor agreement, item acceptance terms, invoice, or other agreement.

Nothing on this general website page establishes a specific commission rate, buyer's premium, or other auction fee unless expressly stated.

8. Pickup, Shipping and Transportation

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, buyers and sellers are responsible for complying with pickup, delivery, loading, shipping, and transportation requirements established for the applicable auction.

BC Auctions may provide information about transportation or loading services as a convenience, but responsibilities and costs will be governed by the terms applicable to the individual transaction.

BC Auctions is not responsible for the content, availability, security, privacy practices, or operation of independent third-party services.
